X-Day @ Teen Quest Ranch

Spend the day on Saturday, May 29 at the Teen Quest Ranch and enjoy paintball, horseback riding, mini dune buggies, mountain boarding, 27-foot indoor climbing wall, boating, fishing, basketball, game room and more! We’ll also do a small service project at the ranch to say thank you for how Come hang out with your friends from MCC, and invite others to a day of awesome activities for a great low price! If we have 25 or more people the cost is only $20! So, turn in your registration form, or email Pastor Jon to sign-up ASAP!

High School Lock-In Canceled

Due to the weather and road conditions, we are canceling the lock-in tonight. We’re sorry, but we hope to reschedule for next Friday, January 15. Check back for more details soon!

High School Lock-In

Friday, January 8 is the High School Lock-In! Come out and invite your friends for an awesome all night party! Doors open at 9 PM, and we’re done on Saturday morning at 8 AM.

The cost is $10 which includes food and all activities! Please let me know if you are coming so we can plan for the best night possible!

Please Bring:
Snow Clothes, boots, and sleds for Midnight Sledding!
Wii Games and extra controllers – we’ll have the Wii on the Big Screen!
Also, if anyone has Rock Band and willing to bring it, please let me know. Thanks!

If you can’t stay all night, that’s ok. Come and have some fun, and leave around midnight.

MCC Turkey Bowl IV!

Turkey Bowl is back, and some are looking to redeem themselves. Last year was great, and this year will be even better! This is a church wide event. Anyone in sixth grade to adult is welcome to attend.

So, invite friends and neighbors to a great afternoon of flag football! If you’re not into playing, come out and cheer on your favorite player. There will be hot and cold drinks, as well as lunch!

If you are able to help provide some of the food for lunch, please contact Pastor Jon. We are planning on having chili as our main dish. Please bring anything that goes well with chili.

See you on the gridiron!

Head to the mountains for a great weekend!

Registration deadline extended until noon on Tuesday, December 1!

Only Three Spots Left!

J-Town is a laid-back weekend where high school students can hear the Good News of the Gospel in an engaging way. These weekends create opportunities to build relationships with friends and leaders in a fun atmosphere. Activities include air soft, football, day spa, hiking, and more!

The weekend also provides an atmosphere where you can have time to reflect on relationships with your parents, youth leaders, teachers, friends and most importantly, Jesus.

The cost is $85 for the weekend, which includes meals, lodging, and all the fun activities! There is scholarship money available, so please don’t let the cost keep you from going on this awesome retreat!

Please submit the $25 deposit with your registration.

Ignite the school year with one of the best events of the fall! Get together with over 700 Christian teens for an awesome night of bands, comedy, and a great message. There will also be information about See You At the Pole, and how you can meet with other kids from your school to pray for your school, community and other students.

It’s BACK, and it’s better than ever! School has started, it’s time to kick off a new year of youth group here at MCC, and we’re doing it in style. Wild West style!

Come and bring your friends to the wildest event of the year! There will be great food, games, a GIANT slip n’ slide, and, of course, a MECHANICAL BULL! Test your skill against your friends in our rodeo competition. Prizes will be awarded for the best riders and best dressed, so come to impress! Also, don’t forget to bring your suit and towel to cool off after your wild ride.

Parents, you can come back at 7:00 and test your skills on the bull too!

Mystery Trip 2009

Have you ever been on a Mystery Trip? If not, you’re wondering how does a Mystery Trip work. Well, here’s the deal! You bring whatever you think you might need (here’s where training for Survivor would come in handy), and what we tell you to bring. Meet at the church, get in the van, and spend the next one, two or three hours guessing where you’re going and what you’re going to do. Sound like fun?

Ministry: renovating a home, assisting in VBS and possibly renovating a playground in one of the borough’s parks.

Involvement: anyone in middle school and up can serve all week or just a portion of the week.

General Info: A new community development organization called Pitcairn Community Ministries has started ministering in the Borough of Pitcairn. This ministry was started through the vision of Pitcairn Presbyterian Church, one of our sister congregations. It is their desire to see gospel transformation and restoration in lives of those living in the borough and the community itself.
